A condition when someone feels satisfaction and happiness by helping someone else, even it includes sacrificing their own best interests. One gets drawn to a person that needs saving in any shape or form! To heal their traumas, improve their life, or show them a positive side of the world. Especially, if one believe there is real good in that person to be “saved”. With the wrong person, this could be catastrophic to the “savior” as the scene depicted in this painting. In front of a New York City skyline, a man is kneeling to give a seated woman the flame (representing love, care, support, and the will to give her all he can give)….they both seem comfortable, happy and in need of each other, but each of them have different intentions and plans…The three masked women are his intuition, past experiences, and intelligence. They are trying to hold him back as they can clearly see the woman’s intentions, but he is blindfolded by his love and by her manipulation. He is giving the flame, and the flame is starting to run through her veins but that flame will not cure an ill soul! The woman is seated in a seductive posture, using that as a distraction from her intentions represented by her smirk, the snake around the arm whispering in the ear, The dead trees behind her representing her coming from a dark and dead place. She is setting her intentions to manipulate, use, lie, deceit and carry on her ill plans! The poem on top is my writing, and can translate to: “Here you go again, here you are slipping again…And your vision has been clouded by the smoke of that burning love. Here you go again, embellishing with your hopes, dreams and wishes to fulfill that thirst for the eternal love and happiness… Embellishing a miserable ruin surrounded by flowers, decorating it with the sun, the moon and precious stones. But the sun with all it’s brightness wouldn’t lighten the darkness of that soul! Nor the moon and all the stars can guide such a sick miserable psyche! And those precious stones, can only be a tombstone decorating those mistakes!"
