I'm an artist and a general dentist, with a passion for painting my philosophies about life, love, and psychology. My art portrays my attempt to understand the world around us and the people living in it!
Born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq where I began my career as a dentist. As an early attempt at understanding the world around me, I found passion in sociopolitical writing. I went on to publish articles in renown media such as The New York Times and Washington Post.
As a political refugee, I moved to the United States in 2010 to start a new life, and escape the persecution that came along with my writings. Consequently, I set about my new journey. I attended and later Graduated from The University of Michigan School of Dentistry. I began my dental career in Michigan before relocating to my current home in Dallas, Texas.
Through observing life around me and exploring my psyche, I found my passion for painting, and an outlet to share my mind with the world through visual representations.
My art inspiration comes from personal experiences, life events, and questioning the system. Accentuated by contemplation, psychology and observing the dynamics of the spiritual balance in our world.
