Left side represents modern days, right side represents ancient times. This painting can be viewed from top to bottom or vice versa, depending on what you believe in, it also has many ideologies that I will try to include here:
A-Human race was created! represented by the hands of creation and the waterfall as water is the source of all life. Adam was in paradise along with other angels, until he broke the golden chains of god and decided to have a free will. Everything followed as you follow the painting from top right, bottom right, bottom left and top left. If Adam was an angel, how could he disobey God? If Satan is an Angel, how could he disobey and challenge God?
B-Neanderthal suddenly transformed into Homo Sapiens, was it evolution? was it our future selves? or was it advanced beings? Represented by the Sumerian god Ninurta and the Egyptian god Khnum. The human race was created and they developed evil in their souls.
C-Is the devil really a demon with horns and wings who lives in hell, or is it a politician or a businessman?
D- Is the source of all evil really satan with his forbidden fruit? Or is it money and power? Represented by the chair and the stack of cash.
E-Religion is meant to be a peaceful spiritual connection to a higher being. Is “Adam” really using it like that? Didn’t it become the reason for most wars and hatred? Represented by the Aksa mosque, wailing wall, St. Peter’s Basilica and the ancient religions at the root of the painting.
